Teen docked for allegedly stabbing man in Osun

A 19-year-old teenager, Ifeoluwa Bamigboye, has been arraigned before a Magistrate court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State, for allegedly assaulting one Segun Ajibade by stabbing him on the ribs.

The police arraigned Bamigboye on a two-count charge of assault and malicious damage of goods valued N9,600, property of one Omowumi Bamidele.

Prosecutor, Abiodun Fagboyinbo said the accused committed the offence on october 24th at Dele Yesir area in Osogbo.

Fagboyinbo argued that the offence committed contravened sections 355 and 451 of the criminal code cap 34 volume II, Laws of Osun State Nigeria 2003.

Bamigboye who was legally represented by Barrister Okobe Nagite pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge.

Nagite applied for the bail of his client in the most liberial term.

Magistrate Adenike Olowolagba granted the accused bail of N100,000 with two sureties in the like sum and adjourned the case till 20th of November,2017.
