It is a forum that brings Nigerians, Africans and other foreign citizens both home and abroad together, in various spheres of endeavours: Professionals, Students, Business Groups, Farmers, Religious/Cultural Bodies, Artisans, and Entertainment Industries towards the promotion of working together; thereby building a strong and united Nigeria in relation to other nations thereby making the association a global concept.

The organization is interested in the promotion of utilitarian and egalitarian society where peace, love and unity reign. We are built in specific means of measuring our effectiveness in our outreach efforts, engaged with strategic partners and secure co- ideological relationship to support our success.

The foundation aims to create an enabling environment for healthy interactions among all Nigerians, Africans, and other foreign citizens both at home and abroad irrespective of gender, ethnicity and religion in order to develop ideas and solutions to unemployment, stranglehold of ignorance and economic hardship in order to attain optimum civility.

Being global in mind and local at heart is a core strategic option of this organization. Our webpage is designed to Connect, Educate and enlighten the world with the Vision, Ideas, Programmes, Policies, Dynamics and Transformational path established in Atiku Care Foundation.

You all must be aware that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was a former vice president of Nigeria for eight years. He is a philanthropist and an educationist. He founded the American University of Nigeria (AUN) in Nigeria in 2005 with American trained faculty, emphasizing critical thinking, small classes, student participation and problem solving. In 2011, the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) honoured Atiku Abubakar with the Harris Wofford Global Citizen Award. At the presentation of the award, the National Peace Corps Association described Atiku Abubakar as one individual who contributed to the development of higher education on the continent of Africa. “No private businessman in Africa has worked harder for democracy or contributed more to the progress of higher education than Alhaji Atiku Abubakar,”

In August 2013, he sponsored a students’ essay contest to generate solutions to Nigeria’s most pressing institutional educational challenges.

We have established a world class website that showcases the Atiku Care Foundation to the outside world. This is because we are committed to make the aims, goals and objectives of the organization visible and further solicit for support for our vision.

We strategically leverage on this website that has a very large bandwidth such that it will accommodate a forum for a large traffic since it is open to the entire world populace. The notion is that many followers who have been successfully exposed to the organization will use the platform to know more of the ‘what ‘and the ‘how’ of the organization’s objectives and thus spread the good news.

Also, we propose to have frequent seminars with an interactive section that will coverage Nigerians and foreign allies which will take place in Spain, Norway, Austria, Germany, Sweden, the UK and any other location at specified period of time.

This section will accommodate all sections of Nigerians, Africans, foreign associates and most importantly students studying abroad. His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is expected to be present in person to dialog with stakeholders in these seminars and thus make laudable contributions to justify the goals and objectives of the organization.

We also plan to air our events by planning a carefully focused, targeted media blitz by partnering with Media networks that surrounds our services to create a high level visibility with schedule promotions and raise the momentum of the organizations’ dignified identity with potential followers in diaspora.

At Atiku Care Foundation, Diaspora, we take great pride in people and provide them with opportunities with which they can learn and grow each day and have fun while doing so. Our Vision:

Our vision is to become a leading organization of required change that promotes and add fair and equitable value to people in order to achieve a revolutionary egalitarian global village.

Influence:

We will strategically carry the youths along with global leadership program by making them a brand that can make impact on the society. On this platform, we will train the youths on how to speak and become a role model to others by leading by example and establish credibility. This is a leadership development program where we will groom the youths to become our ambassadors by sharing experiences with the world. We believe that this forum will serve as an eye opener to many young people globally and will help shaping their life and thinking orientation.

Atiku Care Foundation Diaspora will primarily serve youths from Nigeria, Africa and worldwide between the ages of 18-35 through our various programs. We will ultimately focus on passionate youths who are privileged and less privileged to take on their life challenges and help build a society full of purpose driven individuals that can create desired change. We believe in giving the youths an independent as well as an enabling learning environment to succeed and help build a career for their future.

Atiku Care Foundation Diaspora will support persons with disabilities to enable them contribute their quota to societal development.

Finally, we will collectively work together at the Atiku Care Foundation to bring viable and optimum results in all we do and ensure we continue to affect lives positively while generating income opportunities and goodwill. Based on our research, our own personal experience, and careful scrutiny of the specific audience and area where we are focused, we are convinced that approaching our goals aggressively will allow us to build a stronger position than indicated in this plan.

We are excited about the prospects of turning this proposed foundation into a recognized contributor back home in Nigerian and the International communities, effectively meeting Atiku’s needs and growing with them as the needs changes.
