Man docked for stealing laptop in Osun

A 22-year old man , Iyiola Sunday was on Tuesday, arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate court in Osun State for the alleged theft of one Del laptop, one Alcatel mobile phone and wallet containing N72,000.

Prosecutor, Abiodun fagboyinbo told the court that the accused committed the offence on 29th July, 2017 at about 3am at Oke Arungbo community in Osogbo.

Fagboyinbo said the accused broke into the apartment of one Ajani Charles Oluyemi and catered away the afore mentioned belongings.

He said the offence committed contravened sections 516, 411(2)and 390(9) of the criminal code cap 34 vol.11 laws of Osun State Nigeria 2003.

The accused however pleaded not guilty to the three count charge preferred against him and his Counsel, Barrister Najite Okobe, prayed the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal terms .

In his ruling, Magistrate Ayeni Ashiru granted the accused bail of N100,000 with two sureties and adjourned the case to November 14 for hearing.
