“I Will Fight Corruption Till Death”, Ojougboh Vows

The former Vice chairman, South-south and National Deputy Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Cairo Ojougboh, has assured Nigerians that he would use the remaining part of his life to fight corruption till he breaths his last breathe.

Dr Ojougboh, who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) with over 14, 000 members who are loyal to the former National Chairman of PDP, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, made the vow Saturday in Agbor, shortly after he received the “Most Distinguished Ambassador for Unique and Outstanding Leadership” award.

According to Ojougboh, “I am 58 years, I have lived my life and I am ready to dedicate the rest of my life in fighting corruption till I die to ensure that the right thing is done in our society”.

Earlier, in his address, the Publisher/Editor-in Chief, Fresh Facts Magazine, Monday Iyke Ojomah, revealed that the excellence media award was bestowed on the APC chieftain due to his sincere and dedicated commitment to the service of his fatherland.

While describing Ojougboh as a remarkable, palatable and unbeatable personality, he noted that he is “an administrative icon, a man of understanding, a politician per excellence and erudite and experienced manager, a philanthropist, hardworking, amiable personality, a man who believes in fairness, equity and justice, a patriotic Nigerian, a benevolence statesman, a man with zero tolerance to bribery, a nation builder and a true Anioma son”.

He also said the award was a mark of induction of Ojougboh into the Fresh Facts Hall of Fame, in recognition of his contribution to nation building.

Ojomah, used the medium to appeal for Ojougboh’s support towards their ongoing quiz competition for secondary schools across the nine local government councils in Delta North Senatorial District tagged: “1st Anioma Inter Local Government Quiz Competition”.
