Sanaa Lathan shaves her head bald and she looks gorgeous

Actress Sanaa Lathan has pulled a drastic beauty move by shaving her head.

To prep for her role in the upcoming Netflix film Nappily Ever After, the 45-year-old actress has gone completely bare, showing off the results in an Instagram video posted Tuesday. “I'm just doing my reveal…it's all off…so light I feel like I could fly away,” she said in the footage with 384K views that fans called “beautiful” and “amazing.”

Lathan has been slowly undergoing a hair evolution, previously debuting her full mane, which she cut and dyed platinum blonde, on Instagram. “Do blondes really have more fun?” she asked in an August 19th Instagram post. “Hmmm…Let's see. The first of MANY hair changes for #Violet, my character in #NappilyEverAfter.”

According to Deadline , Lathan's film (an adaptation of Trisha R. Thomas' novel of the same name) follows a woman named Violet who after suffering an “accident” at a hair salon, realizes that her perfect life is overrated.
