PDP YOUTH LEADERS FORUM LAUDS PRESIDENT JONATHAN'S EFFORT AT RESOLVING PARTY LEADERSHIP CRISIS.

We note with profound pleasure and keen optimism, the efforts being made by former President Goodluck Jonathan to resolve the lingering leadership crisis in the Party.

We also particularly appreciate the meeting held yesterday with Governors elected on the platform of our great Party.

Despite the fallout of the 2015 Presidential elections , we retain our confidence and hope that the PDP , being a Party built on a strong ideological foundation still represents Nigeria's best chance of recovery from the present economic and socio-political turmoil and getting back on the path of genuine economic restoration, political restructuring and true development.

If this is to be achieved, we must be able to put our house in order and forge ahead as a strong, united family capable of earning the trust and confidence of the Nigerian people ahead of the 2019 general election, and for the total development and economic recovery of Nigeria.

It is in view of the foregoing that yesterday's meeting was conveyed. It was crucial, timely and laudable.

We as the Youth Leaders of the party maintain that a political solution remains one of the best way of resolving the crisis. We reiterate our earlier call to their excellencies, Sen. Ali Modu Sherriff and Sen. Ahmed Makarfi and other concerned Stakeholders to embrace a political solution to the crisis in the interest of our great Party and the Nation at large.

We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Governors Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa), Ibrahim Dankwabo (Gombe), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta) Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Ben Ayade (Cross River); Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom); Darius Ishaku (Taraba) Ayo Fayose (Ekiti) and Nyesom WIKE (Rivers) ablely represented by the Deputy Governor Ipalibo Banigo for honouring the call of a worthy African Statesman to forge a way forward for our Africa's largest political Party.

Finally, we want to reaffirm our unflinching and unwavering loyalty and belief in the Party and hope that we can come out of this stronger, bigger and better.
