Ibori Is A Glorified Thief --- Dr Obiechie

The National President, Foundation for the Correction of Moral Decadence (FCMD), Dr Joseph Danley Obiechie has tongue lashed the ex-convict governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, describing him as a “glorified thief”.

He made the revelation at a one day seminar for men and officers of the Delta State Police Command at the Officer’s Mess, Okwe area of the state.

Ibori who just returned from London after serving his 13 years jail term for money laundry has also thrown an elaborate thanksgiving in Oghara, Ethiope West local government area of the state allegedly sponsored by the Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa’s administration at the tune of N350 million.

According to him he had it tough while Ibori was still the governor of the state, “I don’t celebrate thieves, if you are from Oghara, you can tell him”.

He also bereted the National Assembly (NASS) under the Goodluck Jonathan’s administration for managing to respond to his call to place ambulance and towing vans on strategic places , “they managed to comply”.

Meanwhile, Ibori during the thanksgiving service said, “Today, I have decided to speak for myself, I am not a thief. I cannot be a thief”.
