Jailed Biafran Nationalist agitator and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu received an august visitor today at Kuje Prisons, Abuja.

Notable Igbo politician and ex-governor  of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu paid a  visit to the pro-Biafran activist today.

Uzor Kalu put up pictures of his meeting with Kanu on Facebook. The ex-governor revealed that they had a lengthy discussion during the visit. He said  Nnamdi Kanu is his brother and shouldn't be where he is because Kuje Prison is not his home.

Kanu is standing trial for alleged treason, keeping unlawful society among other charges.

Orji Uzor Kalu wrote on his Facebook Timeline:
'Today, I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Kuje Prison and we engaged in a very long discussion. Kanu is my brother and a son of the soil.

'He shouldn't be where he is because Kuje Prison is not his home. It is therefore my utmost concern to see him regain his freedom like every other Nigerian.'
