BEVERLY HILLS, December 15, (THEWILL) – The Lagos State Government has replaced the state's Head of Service, HoS, Mrs. Olabowale Ademola, who is standing trial alongside her husband, Justice Ademola Adeniyi at an Abuja High Court in Maitama over an 11-count criminal charge of fraud following an earlier raid on their home by the operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS.

The embattled HoS was on Wednesday replaced with Mrs. Folashade Adesoye, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, who Vanguard gathered would function in acting capacity for now.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos State, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, said, “Mrs. Ademola sought permission to be excused from her duty as the Head of Service while she proved her innocence in the allegation against her.

“The governor had granted that approval and appointed an acting HoS.”
