SAN FRANCISCO, December 12, (THEWILL) – Three worshippers have reportedly lost their lives in a stampede at the Synagogue Church of all Nations founded by TB Joshua, during a special healing service.

The service was the church's annual deliverance and healing programme that plays hosts to people who come in their thousands to see the prophet seeking miracles.

Two of the victims, who were part of a crowd that struggled to see Joshua, were identified as Emeka Okonkwo and Emmanuel Oherin while the third victim was yet to be identified.

Their corpses were said to have been deposited in a morgue operated by the Isolo General Hospital, where they were confirmed dead.

Dolapo Badmos, police public relations officer (PPRO) in Lagos, confirmed the incident, adding that investigations were ongoing.

THEWILL recalls that a building of the church collapsed in 2014 killing at least 115 people, mostly foreigners, in the tragedy.
