SPORT DEVELOPMENT : Commissioner Donates money to Table Tennis Club, Tournament

Niger State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Mustapha Jibril has during the weekend donated a whooping One Hundred Thousand Naira to the Tipple T Table Tennis Club Minna and it's scheduled Monday, 12th December Kick-off week-long tournament slated for Magatakarda Garden, on bay Clinic road located immediately after the Niger State School of Midwifery in Minna, Niger State Capital.

Dr. Jibril while making his donation on Saturday, 10th December, 2016 noted that, Sport Development like any other sector needs collaborative efforts from both, private and public well meaning persons and institutions while he charged participants to maintain decorum considered as a sound basis for understanding and appreciating the skills, techniques and tactics required.

The Commissioner said, his token donation was his own modest way of supporting a genuine course capable of arresting youth restiveness while improving security and socio-economic activities in the state, generally. He added that, the donation was to also complement the efforts of the Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s Restoration Agenda, especially on health, education, agriculture, security, value reorientation, Youth and Women empowerment to mention but a few.

The official Kick-off of the 32 participants triple T tennis tournament 2016 will begin on Monday, 15th by 4pm at the earliest announced Magatakarda Garden in Minna. The tournament will be rounding up on 17th December, 2016.

Nigerlites, recall Dr. Jibril was awarded for his continued and undisputed support of promoting sport activities in Niger State at the just concluded Chairman's Cup in Edati Local Government Area of Niger State.
