Buhari Writes Nass, To Present 2017 Budget December 14

SAN FRANCISCO, December 06, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has notified the National Assembly of his intention to present the 2017 Appropriation Bill to the legislature on December 14, 2016.

In a letter read during plenary on Tuesday by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, the President said he would also speak on his plans to get the country out of the present economic recession.

The Federal‎ Executive Council, FEC, had last week approved the 2017 budget, which is estimated to be N7.02trn.
