Ambassador of Belarus D.Kuptel visits Uganda

On November 24, 2016 during the visit to Uganda, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Uganda non-resident, Dmitry Kuptel, met with representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperation of Uganda.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, including the organization of supplies to Uganda of Belarusian tractors within the Programme of agricultural mechanization of the country, as well as joint activities for 2017.

The Ambassador of Belarus met with the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Uganda, Olive Kigongo. The sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce of Belarus and Uganda, the exchange of visits of representatives of business circles of the two countries.

In the course of the meeting with the representative of the Uganda Development Corporation, the parties discussed the foundation of assembly factories of Belarusian machinery in Uganda.
