TOMTOM EAGLES ROAD SHOW EXCITES FANS

By NBF NEWS

Nigerian football fans in Lagos and Ibadan were treated to loads of fun as the TomTom Super Eagles road show took off in grand style on Thursday.

The 'Believe in the Super Eagles' campaign, which is organised by HotSports, is aimed at drumming up support for the Super Eagles as they prepare to participate in the South Africa 2010 World Cup. Thursday's shows treated crowds in Ikeja, Iyana Ipaja (both in Lagos) and New Gbagi and Challenge in Ibadan to exciting performances where they also had the opportunity to sign the giant Super Eagles jerseys on display.

The road show continues on Friday in Lagos (Mile 2 and Yaba) and Ibadan, before heading for Enugu, Ibadan, Calabar and Kano.

The Lagos road show set out from the head office of Cadbury Nigeria Plc in Ikeja in the morning, and management and staff of the makers of TomTom, the official candy of Nigeria's national teams, were the first to experience the fun and sign the symbolic jersey.

After opening the signing session, Cadbury Managing Director, Mr. Alan Palmer, said he had no doubts that the Super Eagles would make Nigerians proud in South Africa.

He said, 'We will be watching out for their performances as we will also continue to give them total support.'
