APC Best For Ondo, Says Akeredolu's Wife, Meets Young Entrepreneurs

The wife of APC candidate for November 26th governorship election in Ondo state, Mrs Betty Akeredolu on Friday met with young entrepreneurs in Akure, the state capital to discuss the untapped potential and opportunities in the state.

The entrepreneurs also discussed the challenges faced in their various establishments with Mrs Akeredolu.

During the meeting, Mrs Akeredolu told the young entrepreneurs that when her husband is elected, many sectors such as agriculture, mining, tourism and ICT will be explored so as to create bustling economy and employment in Ondo state.

The participants were challenged to explore various areas in the state that has potential to increase the revenue and attract foreign investors.

While responding, some of the participants expressed their chagrin at the state of the economy in Ondo state, stressing that unemployment amongst youths has reached an alarming stage.

The entrepreneurs who lamented the irregular payment of salary in the state, also complained about the fact that government has not created an enabling environment for business owners.

Mrs Akeredolu expressed hope that APC and her husband, when they win the governorship seat, will bring stability to Ondo state economy and create employments for the youths.
