Dispur Hospitals To Conduct Media Clinic

Guwahati: The city based Dispur Hospitals will conduct the next ‘Evening with a Doctor’ program at Guwahati Press Club tomorrow (12 November 2016) for the benefit of media persons along with their close relatives. Dr Raj Dutta (Medicine) from the well-known private healthcare institution will be available for free consultation at GPC from 4 pm to 6 pm. The participants will also get the facility to check their blood pressure in the weekly clinic.

The last OPD at press club was attended by neurosurgeon Dr Naba Jyoti Borah and general physician Dr Aakashi Deka from the GNRC Hospitals. Nearly 25 participants were present in the camp, which was assisted by staff nurse Ms Iban and supervised by the hospitals’ public relations officer Mrinal Ali Hazarika. Earlier Sun Valley Hospital, Down Town Hospitals, Wintrobe Hospital, Swagat Hospital, Narayana Super-Specialty Hospitals, Nemcare Hospital etc conducted the evening camp at the press club premises.

The weekly evening OPD on every Saturday at GPC premises was launched on 20 August. Dispur Hospitals Pvt Ltd chief Dr Jayanta Bardoloi took the initiative to raise a doctor's chamber on the campus of GPC, which was inaugurated by few young citizens namely Dhiman, Kristi, Shantanava, Arya, Shambhavi, Nistha and Arunava on 70th Independence Day.

The 26 November evening clinic will be conducted by Dr Madan Mohan Reddy, senior consultant on orthopedic surgery from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. The participants may consult on various ailments like back pain, neck pain, knee pain, major fractures, arthritis or requiring knee & hip replacements etc. As usual the consultation will begin at 4 pm and continue till 6 pm.
