Dr Ogaga Ifowodo: Many Thanks, President Buhari! 

Today is the door into a new political journey. Considering how God honoured our friend, it behoves us to step out on the rooftop with gratitude. Many thanks, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.

Mr. President should carry on like this more often than not: when we the citizens shout a protestation, you simply responded with presidential goodness that consoles and reassures. Your appointment, screening, confirmation and swearing in of our own Hon Ogaga Ifowodo PhD as Commissioner/Delta Representative at Niger Delta Development Commission board not only compensates Isoko for all those years but it is clear proof that the minorities in our nation have an integral place right there with you. The hyper-sensitive nature of this assignment is not lost on any one. Rest assured that the gentleman you have chosen for Delta State is of the finest specimen: monstrously-humble; inimitably-nationalistic; and above all, powerfully-competent and committed. He brings so much to the table.

Dear PMB, while we re-echo our gratitude for enlisting Dr Ogaga Ifowodo, may we also enjoin you to pump more blood, and faster into the system. Nigeria is in dire straits. Reach out for more thinkers who would help you to take our country not just out of the woods but straight to El Dorado. We can do it. We have the human and material resources. Get them, Mr. President, get them. We wish you well, Sir. God bless Nigeria!
