BEVERLY HILLS, October 31, (THEWILL) – Nigerian entertainer and 'Kukere' crooner, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, better known as Iyanya, has joined Mavin Records, owned by Don Jazzy, an ace producer.

Inyanya made the announcement on Monday, with the release of a new song featuring Don Jazzy and Dr Sid, titled 'Up 2 Sumting,' which was produced by Don Jazzy, which happens to be the singer's 30th birthday.

The news was confirmed by Don Jazzy via his Twitter handle early on Monday as he announced Iyanya as the latest addition to his fledgling record label.

“The Supreme Mavin Dynasty is pleased to welcome Iyanya to the Mavin family. Please join us to welcome him and let the world know that we are up to something,” Don Jazzy wrote.

“Iyanya brings his own unique style and sound to the Mavin Records family. From the first time I stepped into the studio with him, there was an instant chemistry and energy.

“He is an amazing talent and he has great musical versatility. This is an exciting time for us and our fans have a lot of great music to look forward to.”

THEWILL recalls that Inyanya, about three months ago, severed ties with his record label of four years, Made Men Music Group (MMMG) which he co-owned MMMG with Ubi Franklin, his former manager and partner.

Other artistes on the Mavin record label are Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Di'Ja, Dr. Sid, D' Prince and  Reekado Banks.
