How We Ensure Resumption Of Work On Abandoned Road Projects--Gov Bindow

Gov. Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa has said that his administration has given road contractors who abandoned the job ultimatum to resumed work or refund the money collected.

It will be recall that some contractors who collected money from past administration have already started returning to site.

Speaking to newsmen Thursday on the development in Yola, Gov Bindow said that his administration would ensure that any contractor that collected government money deliver.

"This government is a no nonsense government; we have told them (contractors) to bring our money or go back to site", Bindow said.

On his trip to United States with some Northern Governors over security and humanitarian support, Bindow said the trip was a success and would add more value in areas of peace and humanitarian assistance to Nigeria and North East in particular.

"I will like to thank United States (US) for its sustain concern on the humanitarian crisis in the North East.

"US has continue to show commitment by taking the lead in supporting Nigerian's effort in finding lasting solution to the insurgency crisis," Bindow said.

He also lauded the recent passage of North East Development Commission bill by the National Assembly saying that the commission would play a vital role in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of communities affected by the Boko Haram insurgency. ##
