Federal Government Applauds SkySat.

The Minister of information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who was at the company’s 4th Digital Exhibition in Abuja, with the theme: “Exceeding your business expectations”,extolled the company for aligning itself with the programs of the present government to revive the economy and create employment for Nigerians.

“I am aware that Skysat technologies in the last few years has through their products supported the establishment of more than 500 small and medium enterprises in the printing sector and created more than 2000 jobs. This is very laudable and I want to thank the MD of Skysat, Mr Izzat Debs (a true Nigerian in every respect) and his foreign partners for investing in the future of this great Nation,”

He commended the management and staff of Skysat Technologies for organizing the event which he described as a one-of-a-kind exhibition showcasing the best in digital print technology.

“This exhibition by Skysat demonstrates that Nigerian entrepreneurs and investors in print business now have access to the latest technology and solutions for office documentation and printing and, as I understand, the solutions and machines at this show, are the best in the world and I dare to say that in a very short time, there would be no need to outsource printing jobs out of the country because of the expertise and support provided by companies such as Skysat.”

He appealed to members of the business community and government institutions to increase patronage of local print shops/press, especially those with cutting edge technology that were on exhibt. By doing this, they will not only help to strengthen the printing industry, reduce the burden on scare foreign exchange, promote direct foreign investment into the country, create jobs for the teeming unemployed Nigerians.

He reiterated that the present government was committed to supporting both foreign and local companies whose program align with the vision of "changebeginswithme" with relevant regulations, polices and infrastructure that engender the socio-economic development of the country.

In his welcome address, the Managing Director/CEO, Skysat Technologies, said, in last couple of years, in line with the vision and policies of the Federal Government the company had supported the establishment of more than 500 small and medium scale enterprises in the printing sector across the nation of Nigeria with its products and services.

This he said, has significantly contributed to the socio-economic development of Nigeria by providing employment, technology transfer, and value for our numerous customers in all 36 states of the country.

He said, “At this year’s exhibition, which will run for three (3) days, we have lined up an array of latest solutions for various sectors of the Nigerian economy which include Government, Educational, Financial, Hospitality, Industrial Label/Packaging, and commercial printing sectors just to mention a few.

“We shall also be launching Brother MFC printers and Duplo digital finishing products into the Nigerian market.
