Shina Peller: BILLIONAIRE entrepreneur and night club owner, Shina Peller  has cleared the air surrounding the unannounced exit of rising act, Tillaman from the Aquila record label.

Tillaman was one of the  three artistes signed by the record label after it was established last year by Shina Peller. Other artistes signed alongside him were Que Peller and Base one.  The rising act's  recent exit from the label has left much to be desired.

Though  many have alleged that his exit was not unconnected with the fact that he was indulging in self-promotion. But dismissing the allegation, while unveiling a new act on the label, last  week, Shina Peller said, Tillaman's exit from the label was based on mutual understanding.

He explained that the singer's contract with the label has expired, hence both parties decided not to renew it.

However, unveiling the new act, Airboy, at his premium night club, Quilox, Shina  Peller said, he has been training  the budding singer for the past eight months now.  He said, Airboy has a rare talent that inspired him to sign onto his label. According to him, Airboy has so many songs that he has composed within the past few months.

“I will say, I will bet my last money on this artiste,  dropping hits back to back. Before  now, he made up his mind not to sign any artiste except he has  a clear sense of direction. Airboy has a lot of songs in his kettle. For somebody from the very beginning with that kind of variety means that he knows what he is doing,“ he said.

Airboy who hails from Ekiti State, says music runs in his blood, having started singing at a very tender age. He describes his kind of music as Afro pop, adding that he grew up listening to songs of King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obe among others.
