The Shadowy Cargoes Deface The Sky

Source: Mr. Adeola Ikuomola

The shadowy cargoes deface the sky
Like thick darkness dispensing danger
The proud empires propagating ill winds
Annex the mountains and the fountains
The shadowy cargoes swallow the peaks
And pant after the blazing millboards
The domes in their decked dormitories
Tender their bird chambers in surrender
Wildly winged waves wall wharf world
Like dams damning the fearful floods
Crawling monuments furnish the seas
For their ethnic cleansing campaigns
The shadowy cargoes subdue the sky
Like boredom breastfeeding the valley
Pen stands upright in the hall of fame
