Governor Bindow Embark On N1.1 Billion School  Projects In Adamawa state

Following payment of Millennium Development Counterpart Goals (MDG) fund by Adamawa state government Governor Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow has commenced the construction of nine blocks of three classrooms, eight toilets and four boreholes in Seven local government areas of the state to justify the receipt of the funds.

The project which cost N1.1 billion is expected to overhaul educational sector in seven local government areas and to bring scour to the overcrowded public schools in the state.

The Governor who was conducted round eight of such school in Yola North and South, Thursday said education is the priority his administration administration in the state.

Bindow urged the Contractors to ensure quality job and timely completion of the project to enable students make good use of the facilities on time.

At Technical College demonstration Primary school Yola South, the Governor pledge to complete a classroom block that was abandoned for seven years and expressed dissatisfaction that pharmacy objects that could benefit the common man is neglected.

At Majalisa primary school in Yola North, the governor directed that estimate be made on classroom damaged by bomb blast that occurred in Jimeta division of the Nigeria Police.

Commissioner of Education, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta decried encroachment and appealed that every public should plant a tree round the school to provide for parameters fence.

Alhaji Usman Bukar The Coordinator of Millennium Development Goals, said the construction is a twenty fourteen project which previous administration could not make a reality due to its inability to pay it's counterpart fund.

He said the benefiting local governments Include Guyuk, Demsa, Toungo, Ganye, Yola North and South adding that Toungo will also benefit from a five hundred thousand naira community empowerment project.
