Trade Envoy's visit to boost UK-Mozambique commercial links
Richard Benyon arrived in Maputo today for a three-day visit centred on boosting trade relations between the UK and Mozambique and creating opportunities for UK businesses to strengthen their knowledge of the growing commercial opportunities in Mozambique.
During the visit, the Trade Envoy will meet the Mozambican Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosárion as well as representatives of the import and export sectors, local oil and gas operators and regulators, and interact with the network of British Businesses in Mozambique (BBCM).
He will also undertake field visits to some of UK investment projects in Mozambique.
The main objective of these engagements is to build the basis for greater commercial links between the UK and Mozambique.
