Eid-el-kabir: Fg Declares Monday, Tuesday As Public Holidays

BEVERLY HILLS, SEPTEMBER 07, (THEWILL) – The Federal Government on Wednesday declared next week Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th September, as public holidays to mark Muslims' Eid-el-Kabir Celebration.

A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Muhamadu Maccido on behalf of the Minister, Lt Gen. (Rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, announced the development.

The minister enjoined all Muslim faithful and Nigerians in general to support, co-operate and join hands with President Muhammadu Buhari in his sustained efforts to diversify the economy and progressively accelerate the pace of economic recovery.
