Nigerian Youths Should Unify in Purpose

To commemorate the International Youth Day, youths of the People's Democratic Party(PDP) held a roundtable to discuss their roles within the country,on Friday , in Abuja.

Shield Nwazuruaha, Director Online Strategic Unit of the party and one of the Moderator at the round table said that Nigerian youth in respective of their party should unify in purpose to take back the country.

He expressed his displeasure at the we the youths were oppressed and made irrelevant. He said if this was not done now, when the time came for a replacement the present youths would have lost their place and the opportunity passed to the younger generation.

Also speaking at the event, a Youths/ Communication and Development Specialist, Ahmed Ma'yaki, said that Nigerian youth should move from being political consumptive to be political productive.

"As long as we are not driving the process we are on the consumptive side"

" It is important we join politics with your economic strength rather than remain at the part where somebody decides your fate."

The roundtable was an Avenue for youth representatives from across the country come together to table their preferred solutions to the relegated youths.
