In The Quest For The Race Of Vacant Stool Of Obaro Of Kabba: Kabba High Chiefs Youths Roots For High Chief Olobatoke Kayode Joseph (OKJ)—The Obasuwaju Of Oweland

Recently the OBARO of Kabba, Oba Michael Folorunsho Olobayo-OBARO Ero II joined his Ancestors and as a result of his exit, the exalted stool became vacant.

As tradition and culture demands, a new OBARO will have to be installed to replace the late Oba. In search for a suitable replacement, the high chief youths under the auspices of Kabba youth high chief forum(KYHCF)has called on one of her illustrious son, high chief Olobatoke Kayode Joseph-the Obasuwaju of Owe Land popularly called OKJ to step in as the new OBARO of Kabba.

Addressing the youths led by high chief Obataiyese, said high chief Olobatoke Kayode Joseph

based on his antecedent,pedigree and communal development as young enterprising, versatile and a socialite with high and proven integrity whose life style has touched and affected the youths, aged, widows, less privileged and indigent students across Kabba Community, Okunland with positive impact on them to complement government effort for a well and sustainable means of livelihood.

Chief Obataiyese laid emphasis on the recent installation of Ooni of

Ile- Ife Oba Ogunwusi Adeyeye Enitan who was a youth and has brought

tremendous and meaningful development to Ile - Ife within the shortest

possible period on the throne and yoruba race as a whole, emphasis was

also laid on HRM Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kusenla III)the Elegushi

of Ikate Land, Lagos who ascended the throne at a youthful age in

2010(41yrs) and worked assudiously to trade export zone to Lekki,

housing projects and a cargo Airpot terminal to mention a few. In

their resolution they agitate and crest their support for High chief

Olobatoke Kayode Joseph so as to move oweland from its present

premodial town to Mega town to be reckoned with within the short

possible time.
Without preponderance of doubt Obataiyese throw more light on the

person of Chief OKJ: Born 46 years ago at Aiyeteju kabba,present

Kabba/Bunu Local Govt of Kogi State of Nigeria.
Chief Joseph Kayode was born on 24th day of November, 1969. He had his

elementary first school leaving certificate at st. Andrew LEA Primary

school Kabba from 1976 to 1982. He proceeded to obtained his secondary

school certificate, O'Level at St Barnabas secondary school Kabba,

between 1982-1987. High chief Joseph Kayode is an alumni of Kwara

State Polytechnic, Ilorin, where he had his OND From 1990 to 1992, he

also obtained a professional certificate with institute of Chartered

Accountant of Nigeria in 1997.
Chief Joseph Kayode bagged an Associate Member of American Management

Association (AMA) in 2013. His membership number is, W1326409. He is a

staff shareholder of PW construction company.
The young vibrant Owe born, has an NGO(OKJ FOUNDATION). The NGO is co-

Managed by his, Amiable, Loving, Caring, and God fearing wife with

partnership with foreign, corporate and individual donors.

Chief Joseph Kayode travelled wide and near. He has visited Asia, UAE,

USA, UK and west coast of African countries. High chief Joseph Kayode

is, humbled, humane, receptive and hospitable. A God fearing man.
