Emerhor Commends Gov. Oshiomole's Political Sagacity And Infusion Of Classic Entertainment Into Godwin Obaseki's Campaign

Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State and member of the APC Campaign Council, Edo 2016, Olorogun Otega Emerhor has commended Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomole for his doggedness and uncommon political sagacity as evident in his efforts to ensure the land slide victory of Godwin Obaseki, come September 10, 2016.

He said Oshiomole introduced extensive showmanship and in the process funkified the Godwin Obaseki campaign train thereby making the entire process not only very interesting but further portrayed APC as the masses party while at the same time attracting thousands of Edo people particularly the youths to key into the continuity electioneering campaign.

EMERHOR in a statement by his Director of Political Communication, Barrister (Dr) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe said the humility and simplicity required in great leaders featured prominently in Oshiomole's style of political communication, oratory and dance steps strategically calculated to place APC and Godwin Obaseki far ahead of the People Democratic Party (PDP) candidates who are now gasping for breath.

He posited that music, dance and power of oratory are essential combinations in electioneering campaigns, adding that Gov Oshiomole is greatly endowed with uncommon foresight, talent and showmanship skills like no other political leader in the continent of Africa.

Emerhor who is an Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) and member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the APC said Edo people are not gullible but honourable Nigerians with sense of pride and dignity and therefore cannot forget the pains of yesterday in a hurry. He said PDP in Edo State did not consider the well being of the people for the several years it held sway at Osadebe House.

He asserted that for many years, PDP disappointed Nigerians and Edo people as can be seen from the huge financial resources that was mismanaged and looted by successive administrations before APC and Governor Oshiomole took over the affairs of the State seven and half years ago.

Emerhor urged the good people of Edo State to look back and critically compare and contrast the APC and PDP administrations so as to make good use of their PVCs, adding that it will be against the principles of natural justice and good conscience for Edo people to cast their votes for a PDP candidate who was a key player in the looting and mismanagement of Edo State financial and material resources during Lucky Igbinedion's eight years in the saddle.

He said the huge crowd recorded so far in the past weeks of the Campaign and still surging, is a clear indication that the good people of Edo State deeply appreciates the enviable achievements of APC and Gov Adams Oshiomole which is why Godwin Obaseki will defeat his opponents with a wide margin, come September 10.

Emerhor described Godwin Obaseki as an accomplished high breed professional who will never involve himself in any mission that will not yield desired results, adding that Edo State will experience massive development during his tenure because of Obaseki's consistent desire for excellence, attainment of goals, selfless service coupled with his solid global connections in the financial sector to attract rapid socioeconomic development to the state, the statement added.
