Kachikwu's Lies Over N182million Private Jet Payment To China Uncovered
Documents seen by pointblanknews.com shows that the Minister for State,
Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, has been using and paying the same Bombadier
and VistaJet linked to embattled Kola Aluko for which former Petroleum
Minister, Diezani Madueke spent a whooping N2billion to hire.
Pointblanknews.com had reported earlier in the week that Dr. Kachiwku
spent a whooping N182million hiring the Private Jet on his recent trip to
China for a three day investment roadshow.
But a group hired by the Minister for State had claimed in a Press
Statement Friday that the Minister never uses private Jets and never paid
N182million for his recent road show trip to China.
However, investigation shows that Kachikwu have been using Bombardier and
VistaJet Holding SA luxury private jets used by former Minister for
Petroleum, Diezani Allison-Madueke.
Kola Aluko, linked to the VistaJet Holding SA, is one of Diezani's cronies
and currently facing trials for money laundering and oil fraud.

indicate that Kachikwu has been using the VistaJet private jets since
assumption of office.
He used same to a function in the South-South and also flew in it to the
burial ceremony of the mother of Mr. Godwin Emefiele, the CBN governor in
Delta state.
A group, The Niger Delta Indigenous Movement For Radical Change (NDIMRC)
on Friday came to the rescue of the minister claiming that the minister
has never embarked on a trip on chartered flight.
According to NDIMRC’s Nelly Emma, “We want to let these faceless groups
and individuals who are at it again to know that their information is not
correct as he never embarked on a trip to China on a Chattered Flight
costing #182 Million at a time when Nigerians are complaining of hardship.
He is not insensitive to the plight of Nigerians. To show he is prudent,
he has never used Private Jet since he came on board and we know he will
never do that”, the group added.
Sources told Pointblanknews.com that the faceless NDIMRC, an association
not known to any Niger Delta group, was hurriedly packaged in the office
of the Minister to issue the statement denying Kachikwu's flamboyant and
extravagant life style.
The NNPC’s spokesperson Garba Deen Muhammed, recently confirmed that the
minister has embarked on trips with the luxurious VistaJet.
“The VistaJet that we are using is owned by the companies with whom NNPC
has joint venture agreements. And you know that the NNPC has about 60 per
cent in its JVs.”
“So since we have 60 per cent of the JVs, anything that has to do with the
JV operations, including jets and so on, we are entitled to use it.
Therefore, it does not cost NNPC a single kobo to use VistaJet that you
mentioned.”
The former minister of Petroleum Diezani Alison-Madueke denied ever paying
huge sums to hire Private Jets for her personal and official functions
until documents proved otherwise that she has indeed been spending
billions in Private Jet Charter.
