Gov. Ugwuanyi's emergence, a fulfilled prophecy for the poor – Evangelist Nkem Adu

By The Citizen

The Spiritual Director of Jesus Never Fails Prayer Ministry Worldwide, Evangelist Nkem Adu, has described Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State as a God-fearing leader who has dedicated his service to the emancipation of the poor and underprivileged in the society.

She said that her prophecy prior to the election that Ugwuanyi will emerge the governor of the state was fulfilled because of his (Ugwuanyi) closeness to God and sheer commitment to the wellbeing of the poor.

Envang. Adu spoke during the one-day crusade of her Ministry in Enugu, yesterday, commemorating her birthday anniversary, which was attended by the governor.

She expressed surprise that the governor still had to attend the programme to identify with her and the congregation in spite of his tight schedule and the heavy down pour that nearly disrupted the event.

While appreciating Ugwuanyi for his gesture and devotion to things of God, Adu noted that the governor through his penchant for the wellbeing of the poor and people-oriented programmes had sacrificed a lot to be able to execute development projects that would impact positively on the lives of rural dwellers and pay workers' salaries on or before 25th of every month.

The Evangelist praised God for fulfilling her prophecy on Ugwuanyi, whom she described as 'the most accessible governor in the country' and urge him to remain steadfast and committed to God who never fails His people.

In his remark, Gov. Ugwuanyi told the elated congregation that he was pleased to identify with them and give thanks to God for the birthday anniversary of their founder, Nkem and for the good things He has been using her to do in the spiritual lives of the people.

While congratulating the celebrant and her family on the anniversary, Gov. Ugwuanyi also appreciated her for accepting to be an instrument in the service of God.

The governor equally thanked the congregation for their special prayers prior and after his inauguration and urged them to continue to offer prayers for him and his administration to succeed.
