Ambassador Dauda Danladi, MNI Felicitates Sheikh Abdul Waheed, Vice President (ICCI) On Receiving 4th FPCCI Achievement Award-2016 From The President Of Islamic Republic Of Pakistan

Ambassador Dauda Danladi, mni, Former Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan (2012-2015) has extended heartiest felicitations to Sheikh Abdul Waheed, Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) on receiving 4th FPCCI Achievement Award-2016 from His Excellency Mamnoon Hussain, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for outstanding performance in the field of “Real Estate Business in Pakista”.

In a congratulatory letter to Sheikh Abdul Waheed, Vice President (ICCI) , Ambassador Dauda Danladi, mni said, “ I am glad that His Excellency Mamnoon Hussain, President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan has decorated you with the Gold Medal in recognition of your personal efforts to promote business ventures and outstanding results in your business career. Let me also appreciate your personal efforts to promote business prospects between Pakistan and Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

Thanking the former Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ambassador Dauda Danladi, mni, Sheikh Abdul Waheed, Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) said Pakistani business community is keen to collaborate with Federal Republic of Nigeria in various sectors like textiles, pharmaceuticals, surgical equipments, garments, leather products, sports goods.

He also proudly announced Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) is determined to send a High-Powered Trade Delegation to Federal Republic of Nigeria next month. The High Powered Trade delegation will be led by Vice President, ICCI, Sheikh Abdul Waheed which will include the key businessmen from Islamabad Federal Capital, Manufacturers, Young Entrepreneurs, Investors and Industrialists.

He disclosed that ICCI High Powered Trade Delegation will strive to meet the President of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari , Hon Ministers, and Nigerian Business Community. The focus is to explore investment opportunities in the areas of Textiles, Solid Minerals, expanding cooperation between the two countries in Agriculture machinery, establishment of fertilizer production units, farming technology, livestock, leather products, poultry, fisheries, pharmaceuticals, rice processing, surgical equipments and the transfer of technology.

He said (ICCI) High Powered Trade Delegation will also visit the Sokoto Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Nigerian Business Community in Abuja and Lagos Business Club including visit to the Pakistan High Commission in Abuja and Lagos Commercial Section.

He said “ I see a robust trade and investment growth between Nigeria and Pakistan soonest” and the planned visit of ICCI High Powered Trade Delegation to Nigeria is an indication that Pakistani Investors are ready for strategic penetration into the Nigerian Market, which now runs into billions of dollars.
