Osanebi Mourns With Erijo Over Death Of His Mother

Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, has conveyed his condolence to Hon. Johnson Erijo, the Erijo family of Aviara kingdom and the entire Isoko south constituency 2 over the death of their mother, wife and sister, Deaconess (Madam) Emamoke Johnna Agabri.

The Deputy Speaker was visibly grieved when he paid a condolence visit to Prince Johnson Erijo at his country home in Aviara, Isoko South local government area yesterday.

Osanebi was accompanied on the visit by the Majority Leader of the State house of Assembly, Hon. Tim Owhefere.

The Deputy Speaker described the late mama as “a pillar and good mother .”

Speaking with news men, the Deputy Speaker in an emotion-laden voice said: “We can't question God, we return all the glory to him. … God knows best.”

He observed that the late Deaconess Emamoke Johnna Agabri was a pillar of support to her son and all that came her way, through her prayers and words of encouragement. Osanebi added that she will be greatly missed.

According to Osanebi, “Though it is so painful, devastating, we cannot question God’s decision".

He prayed that God should give his brother and friend, Hon.Johnson Erijo and the family the strength to bear the loss, asserting: “It is a big loss to all of us and we are also praying that God will give us the strength to bear the loss.”

The Deputy Speaker also signed the condolence register, after the majority leader, writing: "mum we love you, but God loves you more, it's well. We'll miss you so much. Thanks for all you did for our brother and friend, Hon. Erijo...R I P mum.
