GOOD TIMES, THE FIRST KIDDIES HOME VIDEO DEBUTS

Nigerian kids, who have been denied the opportunity of watching a complete children home video, will soon smile courtesy, Good Times, the first ever children movie produced in Nigeria by M.C Credo Productions.

According to the financial and executive director of this unique idea, Mezie Akabudu who said that the idea started in the year 2002, when he newly came into Nollywood. “I realized there was no film locally made for the youngsters except the foreign ones. That was when I chose to correct the anomaly, though, I was initially discouraged not to sink my money into such projects, I refused as a lover of children. So, for two years, I was researching and consulting with professionals who shared my vision and ideas.”

The kids themselves during auditioning we gathered chose the title of the movie, Good Times.
Meanwhile, Good Times had Comfort Okoronkwo as its producer while Fidelis Agun assisted in directing the music aspect of the production for the kids.

A total of 100 children with the approval from their parents came from various Nursery and Primary schools for the audition. But only 25 made the final list. We were told.
The youthfully talented Emmanuel Osikez, the director of Good Times that is expected to hit shelves nation-wide between now and October, was full of praises to the entire kiddies cast for the historic movie.
