Security operatives arrest presidential bodyguard with links to Boko Haram

Security operatives have arrested Corporal Hassan Aminu, a bodyguard to President Muhammadu Buhari, who is alleged to have a link with the Boko Haram sect.

The presidency could not be reached to confirm the arrest, but there were reports that Aminu had been taken into custody for interrogation.

Several calls and SMS sent to the presidential media Aide, Mr. Femi Adesina and Mallam Garba Shehu were not answered or replied even as at 8:35 pm. - Vanguard.
