The Agony Of Adamawa IDP Woman

The coming of President Muhammadu Buhari has shown to stage a final knock out battle with the Boko Haram Militants group terrorizing the entire North East and even Some States in the Federation.

As the Operations of the insurgents are gradually halting down but seems to be leaving disgruntles effects in the life of Many affected Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

An IDP Woman ,Mrs Helen Peter who is from Madagali LGA Northern part of Adamawa state is one among many left with the bedeviling effects of Boko Haram attacks. She was seen to be roaming the streets of Jimeta dragging along with her two little Children age four and two, crying and keeping.

Seeing her for the first time one may conclude she is having a mental disorder, surely this woman is psychologically in-balance and needs help.

A good Samaritan who saw her sorry condition quickly called the attention of our Correspondent where Mrs Peter In tears began to narrate her ordeals story by saying:

"When Boko Haram overran Madagali where we live, we all ran down to Yola and were in NYSC IDP camp,my Husband later said he rented a place for me and my two kids. After some Weeks he said is living to go and look for a greener pastures outside Yola and he will becoming time to time to see us since then I didn't set my eyes on him again".

" The landlord send us packing because our tenant rent has expired , we went back to the IDPs camp and they refused admitting us into the camp. I and my kids resolved to be sleeping outside, moving from place to place whether we will meet with our relations or any body that we knows ".

Her two kids look sicked, hungry and needing urgent medical attention, as it's seen all over their body suffering from serious acute skin diseases.

" My two little children are in deed sicked,my last child yesterday almost died as a result of high fever, I'm confused just thinking of how I will go back to Madagali to see how my Mother in-law faring ".

Madam Peter seen to be also carrying a pregnancy of about eight months and blame her husband to subject her into all this pains.

Good spirit Nigerians have shoulder responsibly of making sure of taken her back to Madagali.

According to the lawmaker representing Madagali in the Adamawa state House of Assembly (ADHA), Hon. Emmanuel Tsandu ,that Madagali is not totally being set free from the attacks of Boko Haram.

He further said that aside Madagali and Gulak any surrounding environment is prone to the insurgents attacks,as there are always reports of intermittently attacks from villages borders with Sambisa Forest, Chibok and Gwoazo, is therefore advising the woman to stay back as he promised to meet to their needs.
