By The Citizen

President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London to rest as well as see an Ear, Nose And Throat specialist (E.N.T) for a persistent ear infection.

This was contained in a statement by Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman.

It reads:
President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday June 6th, to rest.

During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T. specialist for a persistent ear infection.

The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated.

Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution.

On Saturday, the Presidency dismissed a media report that President Muhammadu Buhari was sick.

Adesina, while reacting to a report that Buhari has an infection in his left ear, otherwise called Meniere Disease, declared that 'Mr president is hale and hearty'.
