Lessons Of Life From PDP Convention Yesterday As Ali Modu Sheriff Is Kicked Out
There is this saying in life that whatever one has not laboured for cannot endure and this is aptly captured in the line of the lyrics of a song which goes thus, " Easy come, easy goes".
Looking back at what transpired at the PDP convention yesterday in Port Harcourt in which the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Alli Modu Sheriff was supposedly removed from office and replaced by a caretaker chairman, even though we might not have heard the last from this rumble in the party as there is bound to be fallouts in the days ahead, can we safely assume that Alhaji Modu Sheriff has gone out of office in the same manner with which he assumed the position of the chairman of the party?
Like a musician also sang in one of his songs, o gbomo wa, o de le gbomo lo, meaning, you didn't come to the party with a lady, thus you can't exit the party with a lady, that you will go out the same way you came in.
This Alhaji Modu Sheriff supposed exit from the chairmanship of the PDP is a further testimony of the fact that whatever comes easy, will go easy and one only hopes we are all taking notes.
This surely is a lesson of life
