Delta State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Kingsley Esiso on Wednesday called on all decamped members of the party to return in the next three months without sanctions.

Esiso stated this while addressing the press after the official handover ceremony by his predecessor, Chief Edwin Uzor at the party secretariat, in Asaba.

He noted that the party had been victorious in the state, adding that his executives would ensure the continuity of the party in the state government.

"And in 2019, we want to return the President of PDP extraction to Aso Rock, Abuja.

"Therefore, as the state chairman, I want to say that those who left this party for one reason or the other to seek greener pasture, I give them three months to come back to the party without sanctions.

"My door is open to welcome them back as a family which they belong, the family of PDP and I pray that they all come back willingly and we will accept them,"Esiso said.

He said though after three months the doors would still be open to the returnees, this could attract some sanctions.

Esiso said that the party in the next few days would set up a committee to handle issues concerning those who would return and for new members to the party.

He lauded the people for voting them into the office in a most transparent, peaceful and acceptable PDP congress in the state.

Uzor, however, advised the new executives to stand firm, be impartial and to uphold the norms of the party.

"My advice to the state chairman and his executives is that they should be firm, no preferential treatment and in doing this we shall move this party forward and manage the state properly, "he said.
