Efcc Finally Invites Fani-kayode

SAN FRANCISCO, May 06, (THEWILL) –   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has reportedly sent out a letter of invitation to former Aviation minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, over an alleged case of Criminal Conspiracy, Fraud and Money laundering involving a company, Joint Trust Dimension Ltd, in which the ex-Minister is said to have links with.

In a letter sent on Friday and signed by Mohammed Umar Abba on behalf of the Chairman of the commission, Ibrahim Magu, the former PDP presidential campaign spokesman was invited to appear before the commission on Monday, May 9, 2016 for questioning.

The letter partly reads that “this request is made pursuant to section 38 (1) of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (Establishment) Act 2004 & section 21 of Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2011.”
