Sage announces strategic partnership with Fairsail to deliver a complete, global HCM cloud suite to midsize enterprise customers

The Sage and Fairsail partnership will enable midsize enterprise businesses to access a modern, cloud-first generation of integrated applications to seamlessly manage their business and people.

London, UK (5 May) – Sage, the market leader for integrated accounting, payroll and payment systems, has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Fairsail, a leading Human Capital Management Cloud provider, built on the Salesforce1 platform.

Fairsail will become the cloud HCM platform of choice to accompany Sage’s X3 Business Management Solution which serves midsize enterprise businesses worldwide. Sage X3 and Fairsail products will work together to seamlessly provide companies with better processes to manage financials, supply chain, payroll, workforce and talent management, all in the cloud. This will be available to customers in the U.K. and U.S. initially, with further global roll out to follow.

Sage will also implement the Fairsail solution internally as its global core HCM solution. This will provide its colleagues with state of the art HR management to further enhance its workforce experience.

Alan Laing, EVP of partnerships and alliances said “As part of our ever expanding network of partnerships and alliances, we are very excited to further develop our relationship with Fairsail. We are committed to providing customers with the solutions they need to compete and grow in today’s global, digital economy. This complementary powerhouse of business management and HCM solutions will enable our customers to gain a competitive advantage.”

The Fairsail cloud HR solution brings significant benefits to customer quickly, enabling businesses to remain agile and responsive.” said Adam Hale, Fairsail CEO. “This investment will allow us to grow our customer success, product innovation and our fabulous team globally.”

As part of the strengthened relationship, Sage will also make a minority investment and take a seat on the board. This signals a strong commitment from Sage to make the partnership a success and allows Fairsail to continue to invest in its product, go-to-market and customer for life capabilities worldwide.

As alliance partners, Sage is a sponsor of the Salesforce World Tour London on 19 May. Salesforce and Fairsail will be present at Sage Summit , the world’s largest gathering of entrepreneurs and leaders of Small & Medium Businesses, taking place in Chicago, IL, on July 25-28.

The announcement comes as Sage reports interim FY16 results showing double-digit recurring revenue growth of 10% for the first time this decade, supported by a 50% increase in the number of software subscriptions to 842,000, as customers embrace closer relationships with Sage. The results showed overall organic revenue growth of 6.2% and demonstrated operational progress against the five pillars of the Sage strategy.
