Sheikh Abdul Waheed, Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) has extended heartiest felicitations to Senator (Dr) Aliyu Magatakarda Wammako and Former Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ambassador Dauda Danladi, mni on their recent successful visit to Islamic Republic of Pakistan including a very productive meeting with President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain who assured whole hearted cooperation and assistance to Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhar and Government of Federal Republic of Nigeria in various areas like Agriculture Research, Agricultural Machinery, Counter Terrorism, Defence Training and Technologies, Leather garments, Pharmaceuticals, Sports Goods, Rice Processing Units , Textiles and exchange of high level trade delegations between Pakistan and Nigeria.
Sheikh Abdul Waheed, Vice President (ICCI) said that Federal Republic of Nigeria is an important trade partner of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and recently owing to the charismatic personal efforts of Former Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ambassador Dauda Danladi, mni the “Trade between Pakistan and Nigeria has touched the highest point from US 80 Million to US 500 Million”.
He said these climax of trade between Nigeria and Pakistan are at stake, if the Government of Federal Republic of Nigeria does not take immediate measures to further strengthen bilateral trade linkages.

Highlighting the glorious achievements of Former Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ambassador Dauda Danladi, mni, Vice President (ICCI) Sheikh Abdul Waheed added that President of Paksitan, Mamnnon Hussain’s State Visit to Nigeria in 2014 was the personal endeavour of Ambassador Danladi that resulted in the establishment of Commercial Section in Abuja that gave a new impetus to Pakistan Nigeria Trade Relations, which is by no means a small achievement.
He said many Ambassadors/High Commissioners from Federal Republic Nigeria came to Pakistan on their official diplomatic obligations in the past but they just came and went without leaving any marked impression on the horizon of Nigeria Pakistan Diplomatic relations focusing on Trade and Commerce between the two brotherly countries.
Sheikh Abdul Waheed, Vice President (ICCI), said that the name of Ambassador Dauda Danladi, mni is still alive deep in the hearts of Pakistan Business Community in every nook and corner of Pakistan owing to his every smiling face and great patriotic concern to enhance trade between Pakistan and Nigeria that moved Ambassador Danladi to visit almost all chambers of commerce in Four Provinces of Pakistan.
