Probe: Gov Jibrilla Appoints Committees To Produce White Paper

Gov. Muhammadu Jibrilla of Adamawa has approved the establishment of two committees to produce White papers on two different investigations conducted in 2014 by former Acting Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri administration.

The Fintiri administration had on assumption of office set up the Justice Bobbo Umar Judicial Commission of Inquiry to look into the Finances and Human Resources Management of the state from June 2007 to June 2014.

Fintiri also set up a panel to investigate the operations of Adamawa Homes and Savings Limited.

Inaugurating the two committees in Yola, the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Umar Bindir, urged them to work diligently and forward the draft white papers to his office within one week.

Responding on behalf of the committees, chairman of one of the committee, Mr Mohammed Gidado, thanked government for the confident reposed in them and assured that the would do their best in meeting the one week dateline.
