Adamawa Government Woos China Investors In The Area Of Solar Energy

The executive Governor of Adamawa state,Sen. Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla recently visited China and entered into another Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the country in the area of Solar Energy generation to the entire state.

He enter into MOU with China Railway International which is a subsidiary of the company's wide range of international business units and signed the agreement with the Vice President to come and explore the potential of the State in Solar Power of 100MW.

Bindow said it is important to partner well with China investors and form a strategic partnership with China Railway Group Limited who will help in wooing many China investors in the state.

This is coming when there is a serious defect of Nigerian railways operation that has hampered the socio-economic development of the country, but now a proposed law to open the network to private investment is hoped to create a much needed public transport system.

There coming is still to find out more about the potentials of other resources, infrastructure developments,Solid minerals and many more in the state.

It is an effort gear toward consolidating the Bindow for social change (BSC) agenda of changing Adamawa state in terms of infrastructure, Agriculture, Education, Health,social services and the state's entire Economy.
