Adamawa APC Assures Aspirants Of Level Playing Field

All Progressive Congress (APC) in Adamawa has assured all aspirant who bought forms to contest for position in the upcoming Local Government elections in the state of a level playing field.

Addressing the press on Monday after a meeting of the State Working Committee of the party in Yola, the state Vice Chairman of the party, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi, who spoke on decision reached by the committee said that the committee was committed to free and fair primaries among all aspirants.

"The State Working Committee of the party urged all aspirants for the local council election to embrace peace in their campaign."

Abdullahi said that the committee also adopted the list of party executives from state, local governments and wards levels sent from the national headquarters for the purpose of the party primaries.

He also said that the committee has resolved that the position of those who engage in anti party activities, defected or died would remain vacant during the primary elections.
