Any Further Attempt To Malign Me Will Be Dealt With – Aisha Buhari Warns

BEVERLY HILLS, March 27, (THEWILL) – Wife of the President of the Federal Republic on Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari has warned that any further attempt to malign her person as the Wife of the President will be dealt with according to the law.

Reacting to allegations on forex transactions on social media – twitter, by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Aisha declared that she is not involved in foreign exchange dealings and could not have been a beneficiary of the alleged $22million allocation from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Using her twitter handle, @aishambuhari (Official Twitter Account Of The Wife Of the President F.R.N, H.E Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari), she tweeted:

“Be advised, any further attempt to malign the person of the Wife of the President will be dealt with according to the law.

“This is grounds for a lawsuit on defamation of character.

“Making false and unfounded allegations without proof just to incite Nigerians on social media is wrong.”

The PDP had alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari, with his aides and wife were beneficiaries of dollar allocations from the Godwin Emefiele led CBN, stressing that they got the dollars below the official exchange rate of N197.

Aisha's company was accused of collecting $22million at the rate of N185 and then selling it off at N362 same day.

The PDP also claimed that in 7 months, Buhari had withdrawn $23m forex from CBN for foreign travel expenses and estacode.
