Outgoing Acting Nigerian High Commissioner To Pakistan, Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede Thanks The Government, People Of Pakistan As Well As The Entire Yoruba Community Of Nigeria In Pakistan For Their Warmth, Affection And Hospitality In Pakistan

Outgoing Acting Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede who is also Grand Patron of Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan, has personally thanked the Government, People of Pakistan as well as the whole Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan for their warmth, affection and hospitality in Pakistan and termed the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Federal Republic of Nigeria as “flourishing, progressive, substantial, deep rooted, and moving towards better future of economic stability for Nigerians and Pakistani people in future”.

Speaking on the occasion of farewell party organized by the Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan, Outgoing Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede and Grand Patron, Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan further added that “Vast opportunities exist between Pakistan and Nigeria for Economic Co-operation in the areas of Agriculture, Textile, Pharmaceuticals, Leather Products, Sports Goods to further boost trade linkages in the days to come and Yoruba Business Community of Nigeria can play a vital role to expand the network of economic activity between the two brotherly countries”.

Thanking the entire Yoruba Community in Pakistan, Outgoing Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede also personally thanked the Incumbent President of Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan (YCNP), Abiodun Mustafa, Ilufemiloye(1) , all the Executive Members of YCNP, Honorable members of Yoruba Chieftaincy and Yoruba Youth Wing for organizing this highly memorable adieu farewell party which Outgoing Chief Patron of Yoruba Community in Pakistan said that he will always keep close to his heart”.

Expressing his sentiments, Incumbent President of Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan (YCNP), Abiodun Mustafa, Ilufemiloye(1) said that “The Entire Yoruba Community in Pakistan will always remember Outgoing Acting Nigerian High Commissioner and Grand Patron Yoruba Community, Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede as “ Soft-Spoken , Kind and Genuine Career Diplomat who has always guided and encouraged the Yoruba Diaspora in Pakistan to be good ambassadors of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Pakistan”.

Paying tribute on behalf of Honorable Executive Council Members, Chieftaincy and Yoruba Youth Wing, to Outgoing Acting Nigerian High Commissioner and Grand Patron of Yoruba Community in Pakistan, Chief Abiodun Mustafa, Ilufemiloye(1) further said that Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede has made valuable contribution to improve the image of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Pakistan besides establishing personal contacts with each and every Nigerian nationals living across Pakistan.

Co-Founder Asiwaju I O A Omomolesho who is Chief Advisor, Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan (YCNP) also lauded personal initiatives and diplomatic efforts of Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede for genuine economic cooperation and investment bridge between Pakistan and Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Chief Daniel Ilesamni Imuzie, Former President (YCNP) also congratulated Outgoing Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede on completion of his “diplomatic tenure in Pakistan” and pledged that Yoruba Diaspora in Pakistan will always abide by the Islamic Laws of host country, Pakistan for the better future of Nigerians and Yoruba Diaspora in Pakistan.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Special Gifts were presented to Outgoing Acting Nigerian High Commissioner and Grand Patron Yoruba Diaspora in Pakistan, Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede. The Yoruba Youth Wing also staged Yoruba Cultural Performance that added beauty to the farewell party.

On this occasion, Mr. Amino Abdul Qadir, Head of Chancery, Pakistan Nigeria High Commission, prominent Diplomats from Pakistan Nigeria High Commission and Military Section were also present on the occasion.
