Incumbent President,(YCNP) Chief Abiodun Mustafa, Ilufemiloye(1) Yoruba Diaspora In Pakistan Demands His Excellency Mr Akinwunmi Ambode’s Patronage To Make The Lagos At 50 Jubilations In Pakistan A Great Success

Incumbent President(YCNP), Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan, Chief Abiodun Mustafa, Ilufemilooye (1) has earnestly requested His Excellency Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos State Governor to extend his patronage and financial support to Yoruba Diaspora in Pakistan to make the Yoruba Jubilations climax in Pakistan a great success as Yoruba Diaspora in Pakistan is deeply committed to celebrate the forthcoming Golden Jubilee of Lagos 50 next year which would be used to project the “Black Race” at home and in Diaspora besides its major focus on Yoruba Civilization and Black Race.

Chief Abiodum Mustafa, Ilufemiloye(1) said Lagos is the heart beat of Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Proud Lagicians deserve the most befitting Celebrations as His Excellency Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode’s constitution of a Planning Committee under the Chairmanship of Nobel Laurate Professor Wole Soyanka is a historic step towards immortalizing the Lagicians in the history of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Chief Abiodum Mustafa, Ilufemiloye (1) added that Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan will shortly launch various activities to promote the cause of “Black Race” and Lagos Golden Jubilee such as “Lagos 50 Years Anniversary Letter Writing Competition-2017” amongst the School/College/University students of all educational Institutions across Pakistan. The winner of the Lagos 50 Years Anniversary Letter Writing Competition-2017 will be awarded a Special Certificate of Honor from his Excelleny Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos State Governor.

He said Yoruba Community of Nigeria in Pakistan also intends to launch country wide “Yoruba Cultural Festival” to join proud Logicians at Lagos 50 Years under which various activities will be staged to the people of Pakistan such as Lagos at 50 Quiz Contest amongst the Educational Institutions in Pakistan Federal Capital Islamabad.

Chief Abiodun Mustafa, Ilufemiloye (1) disclosed that Yoruba Diaspora in Pakistan also support launching of Photographic Exhibition of Lagos at 50 in Pakistan’s Federal Capital, Islamabad, which will display the Lagos Culture and Black Civilization including Lagos Art and Architecture, Music, Food and Dressing habits of Lagocians to Pakistani Nation.

“The Photographic Exhibition of Lagos at 50” will also present a galaxy of Films which will broaden awareness to Pakistani Nation about Yoruba Civilization and Lagos State which is the fastest growing mega city not only in Federal Republic of Nigeria but also on the face of the earth, Chief Abiodun Mustafa, Ilufemiloye (1) said.

Chief Abiodun Mustafa, Ilufemiloye (1) further disclosed that Yoruba Diaspora in Pakistan is also actively involved in designing a set of 4-Commemorative Postage Stamps under the title “Lagos at 50 Years Anniversary-2017” which will aptly highlight the “Theme of Lagos Golden Jubilee Jubilations and remarkable contribution of “Black Race” to promote the cause of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Africa and around the world besides focusing on Yoruba Culture and Civilization.

He further said that design of these set of 4-Commemorative Postage Stamps titled “Lagos at 50 Years Anniversary-2017” would be sent to His Excellency Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos State Governor for his final approval to be issued by Nigeria Post next year.

At the end, Chief Abiodun Mustafa, ilufemiloye (1) also implored His Excellency Mr Akinwunmi Ambode to visit Pakistan and lay the foundation stone of a Special Monument “Lagos at 50” in Pakistan’s Federal Capital, Islamabad to further deepen the Cultural and Trade links between Federal Republic of Nigeria and Pakistan.
