Ocholi’s Death Is A Collective Loss For Nigeria—Alimikhena

The Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Edo North Senator Francis Alimikhena has described the death of the late Minister of State for Labor and Employment, James Ocholi as a collective loss to the people and government of Nigeria.

In a statement by his Media Aide Benjamin Atu in Abuja, Senator Alimikhena stated that the late Minister displayed high level intelligence, during Ministerial screening, which pointed the way towards realizing the dream for a greater Nigeria. Waxing philosophical the Deputy Chief Whip stated that every man is a component of humanity which diminishes with the loss of human life no matter whose, where and how it happens.

While condoling with the bereaved family he expressed a sense of personal loss by the tragic occurrence because of his shared humanity with the late Minister, his late wife and his late son. He prayed that God will comfort the family in this time of distress and endue them with the equanimity to bear the irreparable loss.

The statement also added that as a way to immortalize the late Ocholi Nigerians should imbibe his virtues of hardwork, humility and dogged commitment to better the lot of the common man adding that Ocholi had put his hands firmly on deck to push the Ship of State to the Mountain top overlooking the Promised Land.

He is no longer here to get with us, but as a people Nigerians should leverage on his uncommon vision to get there. The deputy chief whip, prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed Ocholis.
