SUG President Holds Presidential Media Chat on Wednesday
The SUG President of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Comrade Abubakar Sadiq Gimba will hold his maiden Presidential Media Chat on Wednesday, 9th March, 2016 at the University’s Radio Station, Click FM on frequency 89.9FM.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the Public Relation Officer of the Students Body, Comrade Joseph Anuoluwa on Sunday.
According to the statement, the Media Chat will begin at 7pm and that the President will discuss broad range of issues affecting the general activities of the University’s Students and the Union.
The statement added that Students of the University will be given the floor to ask questions, make suggestions as well seek clarifications concerning the activities of the Union through a mobile number that will be made available as soon as the chat begins on Wednesday.
However, what is not clear as regard to the Presidential Chat is, if there will be a panel of students Journalists to engage the President and also, if the students, questions, suggestions and clarifications will be through text messages or through calling the chat room. The statement, did not also say whether there will be social media platforms.
