Economic Hardship: Anglican Bishop Sought For Prayers For God's Intervention

The Bishop of Anglican Communion of Yola Diocese, Bishop Marcus Ibrahim Anfani said is only prayers to God will solve the economy hardship that is biting harsh to Nigerians.

Anfani who said this to our correspondent in Yola sympathise to Nigerians who at this time cannot afford three square meals in a day call all Nigerians to "go back to God for a solution".

He liken the country's situation like Biblical olden days story of the famine in the land of Egypt during the reigns of king pharaoh , where God has to intervene through his servant Joseph to rescue the entire land.

He call on all Nigerians to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari to be the present day of our land which need God's touch to rescue us from the economy hardship.

"At this time That every one is being heat by the harsh economy, only prayers that can solve and remedy the situation".Anfani said

"It seems the situation has become a puzzle and Buhari seems to get hard to be solved, imagine queues has return in our filling stations, the Dollar is still comparably bigger than Naira this and many political issues has been bedeviling the country". He added

According to him prayers and Fasting should be a routine thing in all the churches and Mosques to safe the country from total collapse.
